EXTENSION AND RESTORATION OF A GRADE II LISTED COTTAGE NR STROUD, COTSWOLDS

This cottage, which forms part of a working farm, has been in our client’s family for many years. Castellum restored the Grade II listed cottage fully and added a 4,000 sqft extension to the rear, taking full advantage of the breathtaking views across the valley. The new extension benefits from extensive glazing which floods the living spaces with light, a metal roof, cedar cladding and a new ground source heat pump which now serves the entire dwelling. This is a magical combination of old meeting new and has given this characterful, but previously impractical home a new lease of life.

The interiors were managed in-house, working alongside the client, and aimed to create striking spaces that were practical for modern farm living. The project was completed inside 12 months[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”1542,1543,1546,1547,1548,1549,1550,1560,1552,1553,1555,1556,1544″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
