Purchased as a partially refurbished and incomplete project, the family home was beautifully reimagined from top to toe to create a wonderful, light filled and airy home with a distinct Scandi feel that embraces its far reaching views across the Woodchester Valley.

Castellum achieved planning permission to convert the garaging and storage spaces into an annexe and now the six bedroom, five bathroom accommodation extends to just under 6,000 sq ft.

The beach style sawn wood interiors, white oak flooring, bleached Ash joinery and linen finishes were following the client’s brief for ‘a holiday vibe, an escape’. The layout features a gym and a full bar and a games room and the relaxed feel is complimented by state of the art Control 4 AV, completing the perfect getaway pad. Castellum undertook the project on a Design & Build basis, employing the architect and undertaking all interior design and landscaping in house; the landscaping includes an infinity style pool to take full advantage of the views and this is efficiently heated with an Air Source Heat Pump.
