RENOVATION

COTSWOLDS

Castellum bought Stonelea as a fire damaged ruin. It was a new build that had been struck and devastated by lightening in a storm (thankfully no-one was home).

Planning permission was sought and achieved to build a large kitchen and master bedroom suite extension to the rear of the building and the whole property was then re-roofed and fully renovated.

The new kitchen to the rear linked the house to its fantastic grounds with large doors on either end to maximise the morning sun to the east and the evening sun to the west and this was linked back to the existing utility room using a glass atrium to the rear.

Works were undertaken within 12 months and the property was sold off market to a passing cyclist who happened to pop his head in as we neared completion.
